2012 Bridge Builder Lunches
In 2003 Bridgehaven put on our hard-hats and began a major construction project... Building a Bridge.
The Bridge that we are constructing is a Bridge to the Community.
We've been holding Bridge Builder Luncheons, inviting anyone interested in Bridgehaven to a one-hour luncheon, educating those in attendance about the wonderful work being done with the hundreds of persons in our community suffering from severe and persistent mental illness.
We'd like to invite you (and a friend!) to take one hour and learn about us. No one will ask for financial support, it is purely educational in nature.
Upcoming Bridge Builder Luncheons:
- January 25
- February 8
- February 22
Lunches start at noon, and end at 1:00. Simply call Donna at 502-585-9469 to make a reservation or e-mail her at . If you'd be interested in bringing a group at another time, or would like us to come to your office, please call Donna to make the arrangements.

2011 Art as a Part of Healing
Photographers John Nation and Margaret Fenton were our artists-in-residence this year, and worked with our members in preparing for this year’s show. John has had shows at many local galleries, and has been the photographer for Louisville Magazine for 35 years. Margaret is a freelance photographer and has worked as the Director of Photography for Vanderbilt Student Communications in Nashville, Tennessee.
This year’s show was a huge success for our members. In their artist’s statements, many of the members stated that learning photography had taught them to look at the world differently, and that it got them out into the community and they no longer feel so isolated.
Thank you to everyone who came to support our artists.
